Ebook - Creating Information Products With Hardly Any Effort
I heard a statement the other day from a successful internet marketer, which is so true. It was made in a room full of attendees who were assembled to learn about Internet Marketing. “Everyone in this room should have a book. If they don’t have one, they should be creating one. If they have one they, should be creating more.”
Yet many Internet marketers will still say that they don’t have time to create information products. And they are right. They don’t have the time. They are busy keeping up with their regular work: servicing their clients or marketing their current product or products. They haven’t grasped the concept yet of recording and getting their words transcribed into information products.
I had a call in the last couple of days from a client who said, “But I’m a writer, we just write, we write very easily.” I even have some very close friends who say that. That’s fine. You should do that if that’s what you feel more comfortable with–if you are creating more information products, and not using the excuse of not having time.
At the same time, I would strongly encourage you to start recording. You will find that it is so much easier. If you are uncomfortable with sitting down and recording, practice recording something you’ve already written. You’ll get more comfortable with the concept of recording and a funny thing happens.
When you’re recording something from what you’ve already written, you expand on it; ideas come to you. You’re talking about it. You’re sitting there reading something that you’ve already written and the next thing you know you’ve expanded on it.
If you’re into writing it and that’s the way you like to create information products, then that’s what you should do. But I encourage you to also practice recording. You’ll find that it gets easier and faster for you. You’ll find that you love the idea of being able to create at will, whether you are home at your computer, or out somewhere; even on a cruise.
It is so easy to whip out your small recorder which can easily be carried in your purse or pocket and once the recording is finished, send the recording off to your transcription service. What you’ll love even more is the ease with which you’ll be able to edit your product when it has been transcribed and you can edit from something already written rather than the tedious chore of having to edit as you write.
See for yourself how very easy it is to create an ebook and other information products with hardly any effort. I challenge you to try it at least once.
